You’re invited to the 2nd Annual Kick Off Summer event hosted by the Smith Mountain Lake Crusaders.

This is a FREE family fun day open to the public! Kick Off Summer is SML Crusaders’ way of giving back to the community every year and starting off the Summer right! There will be tons of activities for the whole family as well as food, drinks and sweet treats!

Smith Mountain Lake Youth Athletics (SMLYA) is home of the Crusaders, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization offering football and cheerleading for kids ages 5-12. The program goes well beyond the field. The mission is to empower our youth through the highest standards of athletics while building a foundation of self-development and community involvement. Players and staff are heavily involved in volunteerism and charity work. The Crusaders offer many programs such as tutoring and development workshops for the community as a whole. The Crusaders is a member of SWVA AYF and are a private organization not associated with any county programs.
